The 18th edition of the European Consumer Day, organised every year by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), focusses on the Commission’s “better regulation” plans and its impact on consumers. Consumer representatives, business groups, the Dutch Presidency and EU institutions will look at the different aspects of “better regulation” at the occasion of a conference on 10 March in Brussels. The thread of the conference is how to assure consumers do not lose out.
More detailed information about the conference programme, how to register and background documents is available on the EESC website.
